Based on the increased need for Bosphorus Company Limited to diversify its portfolio; – the company established its Kenyan Branch trading as Pizza-pitta at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at the Airport Trade Centre Building by launching its operations on the 15th day of May 2018. The client numbers and revenues of our local branch have continued to grow per month gaining a return on investment in 4 years irrespective of the environmental factors and variables that are factored in Investment and development of the establishment.
Bosphorus Company has continued to build on consistent growth and bold innovation that dates
back to its formation in 2015. We pre-date the establishment of our Production unit in the year
2018 with the urge to meet the catering service demands within the airport. From a humble beginning, today Bosphorus Company boasts of a state-of-the-art world-class production unit a fully integrated catering system to support all our Lounge catering services, Lounge Management Services and laundry solutions. All our processes conform to world-class standards with integrated software that guarantees accuracy, efficiency
and an instant crosscheck capability with every client order; including supply-chain, scheduling,
audits and checklists.
We carry our Supplier Audits that provides a crucial quality check on consumer products to determine whether they meet the desired specifications for raw materials, intermediate and finished products. It also enables process verification and confirmation of adherence to regulatory guidelines.
We maintains records of food samples and carry out ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory tests with the Government laboratory that deals with the microbiological testing of raw materials received from its suppliers, online and finished products prepared for its customers to ensure the continued safety of food products along the supply chain. The entire process of food preparation to packaging, storage and delivery meets the highest standards of food safety and hygiene which is enhanced through the company’s adherence to the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) certification.
